Model triage narrative
| ID | Band | One-line defense |
|---|---|---|
| B3 | P0–P1 | Money integrity; contain + fix path |
| B1 | P1 | Access for a real cohort; workaround exists |
| B5 | P2 | Critical-path perception/a11y; works but harms conversion trust |
| B6 | P2 | Hardening; schedule security follow-up |
| B4 | P2–P3 | Internal + workaround |
| B2 | P3 | Brand after critical path stable |
How to say it without starting a war
To finance: “We’re containing double-charge today and tracking refunds; durable fix is top of eng queue.”
To marketing: “Typo is queued behind money/login; junior can take it if free after containment.”
To eng: “P0 means containment owners and a named fix owner — not six simultaneous fires.”
Anti-patterns this lesson trains against
- Severity = priority
- Rarity = ignore for money
- Loud stakeholders beat silent money loss
- No capacity math
Takeaway
Judgment is ordering under constraints, not collecting angry adjectives.
